Overview

For Omnicom’s 2021 D&I initiative, they hosted an Adobe Jam competition asking teams of 5 to submit a desktop app that would increase forward Omnicom’s D&I goals. We decided to tackle the issue of “Opportunity”, by advocating for connection between Omnicom agencies and employees.

LUNCHROOm

We aimed to connect and develop diverse voices through the lens of LunchRoom — a place where people can connect in a safe environment to engage in meaningful conversations, much like our childhood lunchrooms. In our app, tables were designed to promote peer discussion around various communities and critical DE&I topics. There’s always a seat for you at a LunchRoom table, no matter which table(s) you identify with, or what you want to learn more about.

The design utilizes ambiguous characters with abstract features to promote an inviting environment where all demographics are welcome.
